Payroll and Benefits Specialist

Our partner, a international company in the services and industrial sector, is looking for a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join its headquarters in Brussels.

Role

Act as the main point of contact for a group of employees on payroll and benefits matters.
Prepare, validate, and process monthly payroll in compliance with legal deadlines.
Collaborate with the external payroll provider and internal HR teams to ensure smooth operations.
Oversee salary payments, benefit invoicing, and transitions such as retirement, in close cooperation with Finance.
Maintain and update payroll procedures and documentation to ensure compliance.
Identify and support payroll process improvements and optimization initiatives.

Profile

Experience: At least 5 years in Belgian payroll, preferably in an international setting.
Languages: Strong command of either French or Dutch, with good knowledge of the other national language and English.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with solid knowledge of Belgian social legislation.
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to solve complex payroll issues.
High level of integrity and discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
