Our partner is a well-established international organisation in Belgium, operating in a dynamic environment where reliable IT infrastructure is essential to its day-to-day operations.

As part of the growth of its infrastructure team, we are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer who enjoys being where the action is — not spending every day behind the same desk.

You will work across different company sites, taking care of infrastructure, networking and technical operations while collaborating with colleagues, internal stakeholders and external partners. It’s an opportunity to combine your technical expertise with mobility, variety and real hands-on work.

Infrastructure Engineer | Duties and Responsabilities

Install, configure and maintain IT infrastructure, hardware, operating systems and applications across multiple sites.
Monitor infrastructure performance and troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues, providing hands-on technical support when required.
Manage and maintain the Microsoft environment, including Active Directory, Entra ID, GPO, Windows Server, Intune and Microsoft 365.
Maintain and troubleshoot network & security infrastructure, including Cisco Switching, VLAN, VPN, TCP/IP and firewall rules.
Contribute to IT projects, infrastructure roll-outs and technology improvements, including initiatives related to ISO 27001 / ISMS.
Manage and support backup, asset and infrastructure monitoring solutions such as Veeam and Lansweeper, while working closely with IT management and external suppliers.

Infrastructure Engineer | Ideal Profile

You have at least 5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure / System Engineering, ideally with previous hands-on support experience.
You have strong knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure: Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, GPO and Microsoft 365.
You have solid expertise in networking & security, including switching, VLAN, VPN, TCP/IP and firewall configuration.
Experience with Veeam, Lansweeper and ISO 27001 / ISMS is a strong asset.
You are an excellent communicator, able to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. English is essential; Dutch and/or French are a plus.
You are proactive, organised, analytical and flexible, comfortable managing multiple priorities and travelling between different sites when required.
