Our partner is a leading Pharmaceuticel player looking for a GL Accounting to drive complex accounting, treasury topics and team coordination

You will join a well known player in the pharmaceutical sector, looking for a GL accountant to strenghten their finance team. Our partner is an international company with multiple branches in Belgium, that wants to ensure the smooth operation of their general ledger accountancy. It's a role that gives room for growing with perspective of management in the long term.

GL Accountant Lead | Your Role

Prepare and review general ledger postings for balance sheet and profit & loss accounts
Take an active role in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting
Perform balance sheet reviews, accruals, and cut-off checks in line with accounting guidelines
Analyze financial results and explain key variances to internal finance and business teams
Support treasury-related accounting activities, including controls and closing entries
Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide requested documentation
Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the finance department
Collaborate with other finance teams and participate in cross-functional projects in an international pharmaceutical environment

GL Accountant | Your profile

Experience: 5+ years in General Ledger accounting or a similar role
Languages: Fluent English, knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus
Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
