Are you looking for a Finance Controller position combining accounting, regulatory reporting, analysis and continuous improvement?

Our partner is a leading international professional services organization with a large presence in Belgium. To strengthen its Central Finance department in Zaventem, the company is looking for a Finance Controller to join its accouting & reporting team

Finance Controller | Role

Support monthly and year-end closings in line with accounting, legal and tax requirements;
Perform P&L and balance sheet analyses, reconciliations and controls across different accounting ledgers;
Prepare regulatory and financial reporting under BE GAAP and IFRS;
Support tax declarations and coordinate internal and external audit activities;
Review accounting treatments, document internal controls and proactively improve Finance processes.

Finance Controller | Profile

You hold a Master’s degree in Accounting or Economics and have strong knowledge of BE GAAP; knowledge of consolidation processes is also expected;
You combine strong analytical and reconciliation skills with advanced Excel knowledge; experience with SAP and a background in audit are considered strong assets;
You are fluent in Dutch and English, work autonomously and accurately, and are comfortable challenging existing processes and suggesting improvements.
