Your responsibilities

Advise domestic and international clients on a broad range of environmental law matters, with a particular focus on industrial activities.
Handle regulatory matters relating to permits, waste management, soil, water, climate and packaging.
Advise on Belgian and European legislation governing chemical substances, electrical and electronic equipment, deforestation-related commodities, food products and environmental claims.
Provide strategic legal advice and assist clients in negotiations with public authorities, stakeholders and other industry players.
Represent clients in administrative and judicial proceedings before the competent authorities and courts.
Manage your own files independently while working closely with colleagues on complex, high-profile matters.

Ideal profile

You have 3 to 5 years of experience as a lawyer, with a solid background in environmental law.
You have experience advising industrial clients, ideally including international companies.
You are a native Dutch speaker with an excellent command of English.
You are comfortable managing files independently and taking ownership of complex matters.
