We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to join a global Platform Services team. In this role, you will design and implement secure, resilient, and cost-efficient cloud solutions while driving best practices across architecture, DevOps, automation, and cloud operations.
You will work closely with Platform Architects, Platform Operations, Development, Security, and Infrastructure teams to build and maintain enterprise-grade cloud environments that support mission-critical applications worldwide.
Role
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures on Microsoft Azure.
- Define and promote best practices for cloud security, governance, compliance, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using modern automation frameworks.
- Optimize cloud environments for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Drive cloud automation initiatives across infrastructure, deployment, monitoring, and security processes.
- Collaborate with development teams to support cloud-native application architectures.
- Support and guide engineering teams in adopting DevOps and cloud best practices.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the cloud engineering community.
Profile
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 6 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Cloud Architecture, or DevOps roles.
Strong expertise with Microsoft Azure.
Extensive experience with:
- Kubernetes
- Terraform
- Docker
- Container orchestration technologies
Hands-on experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Azure and/or other cloud certifications.
- Experience leading or mentoring small technical teams.
- Knowledge of Helm, Ansible, and other automation tools.
- Programming and scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, Go, etc.).
- Customer-facing or support experience.
