Our client, an international market leader with a strong Benelux presence, is looking for an Accountant to strengthen its finance team.

Your duties and responsibilities

Manage monthly and year-end closings in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS.
Prepare provisions, accruals and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Handle fixed assets accounting and depreciation.
Coordinate and reconcile intercompany transactions across the Benelux entities.
Prepare VAT and other statutory declarations.
Act as the key user for the financial ERP system.
Support payroll accounting in collaboration with HR and external payroll providers.
Assist with group reporting, margin analyses and stock-related reporting.
Participate in internal and external audits.
Contribute to the optimisation and continuous improvement of accounting processes.

Ideal profile

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in general accounting, ideally in an international environment.
Languages: Fluent in Dutch or French, with a good command of English.
Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience. Strong Excel skills; ERP experience is an asset.
