Devops Engineer
Are you the expert who can connect Terraform, Ansible, and rock-solid infrastructure into one unified automation flow?
As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll be part of a core team driving the automation and modernization of the organization’s IT infrastructure.
You will play a key role in building, maintaining, and automating secure, scalable, and resilient environments, ensuring that systems align with reliability, compliance, and performance standards.
Working within a multidisciplinary DevOps team, you’ll focus on infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform and Ansible, helping to standardize deployments across environments and streamline operational workflows.
Role
- Design, implement, and maintain automated infrastructure deployments using Terraform and Ansible.
- Contribute to the modernization and standardization of IT infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable application and infrastructure delivery.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and Network teams to ensure compliance, reliability, and performance.
- Automate operational tasks and improve processes for provisioning, patching, and configuration management.
- Participate in monitoring and alerting setup (Prometheus, Grafana) and log management (Graylog).
- Contribute to security hardening and compliance of Linux environments (RHEL, AlmaLinux, Rocky).
- Support the migration and integration of on-prem and cloud-based services (e.g., Cloudflare).
- Maintain documentation and share knowledge across teams.
Profile
5+ years as a DevOps Engineer or Infrastructure Automation Engineer.
Hands-on experience with:
- Terraform for IaC (modules, state management, reusable components)
- Ansible for configuration management and orchestration
- Linux system administration (SELinux, RHEL derivatives)
- Python or Bash or Powershell for scripting and automation
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar)
Familiarity with:
- Networking and security concepts (load balancing, firewalls, service mesh, VPNs)
- DNS management and DNSSEC concepts
- Monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Graylog)
- Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and virtualization
Solid understanding of compliance and security in high-availability or regulated environments
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Fluent in English
Nice to have:
Experience with Foreman, Rundeck, or Cloudflare automation
Knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
Familiarity with Go or GitOps workflows
Offer
Freelance contract on yearly basis with possibity of extention without limitation
