Solid experience with Linux system administration (Debian, RedHat, or similar).
Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing, switching).
Hands-on experience with firewalls, load balancers, and security hardening.
Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python or similar) and automation tools (Ansible, Puppet).
