We are looking for an HR Specialist to join the management team for our partners specialised in materials distribution based in Genk.

Joining the management team as a Human Resources specialist, you work closely with the various departments and report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. On a daily basis, you will be responsible for the proper management of the different aspects of human resources and will ensure good communication between departments and colleagues within the group. With you 360° view, you are the main point of contact for all HR matters.

Function:

  • Recruitment and selection of the best talents through active searches with different tools and development of the Employer Branding of the group
  • Development, coordination and implementation of the HR policy and management of various HR projects (job descriptions, training plans,…)
  • Optimisation of processes and procedures related to people in order to achieve maximum efficiency by developing the well-being of employees
  • Management of communication between management and staff of the different departments and management of individual or collective conflicts within the group
  • Working closely with the management team, you lead and develop HR projects to improve employee experience and well-being at work

Profile:

  • At least a bachelor degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent field
  • A 3 years experience as a general HR or HR Business Partner
  • You are fluent in Dutch and have a good knowledge of French (knowledge of English is an asset)
  • Good knowledge of labour law, Belgian social law and the various existing subsidies
  • Quality oriented with a good sense of initiative, you will supervise the development of employees by showing both empathy and assertiveness
